I have been taking photographs since 1996... literally. since. birth.

kidding. It began in 1997.

I love God, my husband, my dogs, traveling and art. I have been photographing as a hobbyist since roughly 2005 when my mom got her first decent digital camera. I used that camera almost every day until I dropped it in the lake on vacation... talk about awkward when my mom asked "what was that splash?" I then made a big girl purchase in high school and got my very own DSLR. I thought I was a professionaaaal with my entry level D5500. She was loyal until I threw her away like day old bread and got my first full-frame DSLR. THE Canon 6D Mark II. She was my first step in opening a photography business. A few years went by of me meeting new clients that became friends, dogs I wish I could steal for myself, and memories I'll never forget that led me to my newest camera, the Canon R6 Mark II. I now photograph weddings, pets, and lifestyle changes under my LLC and have been doing so since 2021. I love creating lasting and timeless portraits for my csp family. I will never get over the priceless reactions when I deliver collections filled with memories, never-before-seen moments during busy times, and raw emotions. Caitlin Savannah Photography is more than a business, it's my art and I will cherish it until the very end.

Now that you know a little bit about me, let's do this thing.

Sam started photography in 2021 as a hobbyist and my free assistant. Kidding... a little. After learning the ins and outs of my 6D Mark ii, he joined me on a few engagement and family sessions to get the feel of being behind the camera. After some experience, he shot his first wedding with me as a second in 2022 and not only did he do a fantastic job but he genuinely loved it and so did our client. They couldn't get enough of the in-between moments he captured of the family and friends and their reactions. He can and will, if you let him, talk about sports for hours with the guys if that means keeping them at ease during those nervous moments. He loves being there as a backup and behind the scenes photographer catching those candid moments and small details that can be easy to overlook and usually are during busy times. Some of CSP's best images are from Sam and our clients adore them.

Also his favorite part is flying the drone.
